Our Children and Youth Religious Education (CYRE) program is charged with providing our children, from preschool to high school, with the learning that can enable them to be courageous partners in working for change and the understanding that this work is spiritual work. How that translates in the classroom depends on age, as we program for ages 4 to 18. Because ours is a Unitarian Universalist congregation, our lessons are aligned with the Unitarian Universalist Principles and Sources, which we frequently reference. And because this work is best done in community, we emphasize relationship building in all we do.
Programming for the beginning of the 2021-22 year is currently in-person, outdoors, and masked for 4- 17 years old. We are monitoring COVID recommendations closely. We hope that CYRE classes can transition indoors as soon as it is safe to do so. Our goal is to keep everyone informed, connected, and engaged. Please monitor Currents for updates on this status.
We ask that all families register for the 2021-22 Religious Education Program using the following link: 2021-22 CYRE Registration. This includes returning families and new families, both member and non-member. There is no fee.
Because we are not holding in-person services, our nursery is not currently operating. Please watch Currents for updates.
