Our Children and Youth Religious Education (CYRE) program is charged with providing our children, from preschool to high school, with the learning that can enable them to be courageous partners in working for change and the understanding that this work is spiritual work. How that translates in the classroom depends on age, as we program for ages 3 to 18. Because ours is a Unitarian Universalist congregation, our lessons are aligned with the Unitarian Universalist Principles and Sources, which we frequently reference. And because this work is best done in community, we emphasize relationship building in all we do.
Programming for the 2020-21 year will be a combination of virtual and in-person. Our goal is to keep everyone informed, connected, and engaged.
Our 2019-20 CYRE Prospectus provides a two page overview of last year’s program. It will be updated upon return to regular programming in 2021.
Returning families who registered in 2019-20 do not need to register for the 2020-21 CYRE Program. However, we do ask that they contact the CYRE Director with any changes in their contact information. New families, both member and non-member, should register for the 2020-21 Religious Education Program. There is no fee.
Because we are not holding in-person services, our nursery is not currently operating.
