Music for Children and Youth

We actively seek ways to include our children and youth in the musical life of the congregation. In addition to the Children’s Choir (described below), our annual middle and high school services rely heavily on the instrumental and vocal talents of our youth. Other music opportunities include special presentations in Children and Youth Religious Education classes and special services.

The Children’s Choir is open to all K through 5 children who love to sing. Rehearsals are fun and engaging and take place in Priestley on most Sundays during the school year, from 11:30 to 12 p.m. The Children’s Choir performs in special services and is directed by Director of Music John Herrick with the help of musicians from the congregation.
