alt=Like many members, we joined UUCC later in life. Our two children had established homes of their own. Our work lives were winding down. We had more time to focus on our interests and to find people who shared our interests. We were delighted to find a community that inspired us with thought-provoking services, helped us get to know others through community building activities, and asked us to show up and demonstrate our support.

As we got more involved, some of our efforts were focused on helping to ensure the needs of the building itself and our wonderful tree canopy. Maintaining 234 as a place for us to gather is a significant cost but one we think is worth it.

We have been impressed by the extra effort that Alesia, Belinda, Kelly, John and Tom have put forth as we search for a minister and religious education director. We contribute to support them in their roles.

These are the reasons we provide time, energy and financial support to UUCC. We want UUCC to be a vital part of our lives moving forward so we give generously. We ask that as you respond to the spring pledge drive, you consider the role you want UUCC to have in your life.
