UUCC will engage with monthly discussions on the revisions to Article II, the process, and its content. Sessions are planned for December 2023 through May 2024. Our next session is Dec. 10 at 11:30 in the Sanctuary where we’ll look at how the new language compares to the Principles language.

As most of you know, the UUA has been in a process to review Article II of the UUA Bylaws for the past two years. For those of you unfamiliar, this is the 4 Section piece in the UUA Bylaws where they list purpose, identity, inclusion, and freedom of belief…also where the 7 Principles “live.”

Previously, we have offered general informational sessions. Then, on November 19, we began the deeper dive discussions with a Community Sunday offering on the revision process. (You can read more about the process HERE.)

We hope you will join us for these robust discussions on the changes. Please let us know if you need childcare.

Here’s a general timeline of available discussions:

  • Dec. 10, 11:30, Sanctuary – New language vs. Principles
