Ingathering, or water communion, is an end-of-the-summer tradition in many Unitarian Universalist congregations as we prepare for the beginning of the new church year and the start of school. Come one, come all – all are welcome to participate in this multigenerational ritual engaging our minds, bodies, and hearts. Like rivers that run to the sea, each of us holds our own cup but in community, our waters are intermingled and together we are stronger than we are alone. Bring a little bit of water with you, or we’ll have plenty to share. Featuring music from the summer choir.
