Four Shillings Short (https://4shillingsshort.com) perform traditional and original music from Celtic cultures, medieval & Renaissance Europe, India and the Americas on a fantastic array of instruments (over 30) including dulcimer, mandolin, Irish bouzouki, tin whistles, medieval and Renaissance woodwinds, North Indian sitar, Andean charango, medieval bowed psaltery, banjo, Irish bodhran, Egyptian darbuka, Moroccan dumbek, and German krumhorn.

This husband and wife duo, Aodh Og O’Tuama from Cork, Ireland and Christy Martin from California, have been performing together since 1995. Giving over 100 concerts per year in the US and Ireland and living as troubadours traveling from town to town, they’ve performed at music festivals, performing arts centers, folk and historical societies, theaters, libraries, museums, schools and UU congregations. As independent folk artists, they’ve produced 13 recordings.
