Volunteers are the heart and soul of our collective enterprise. As we prepare for the congregational year starting July 1, we invite UUCC members to review the volunteer opportunities below, including duties, time commitments and helpful attributes. Consider serving our community in one of these volunteer roles. There are descriptions of many roles, including serving on leadership teams.

Leadership teams help coordinate much of what we offer and help manage the operations that support our community. Members of our professional staff are responsible for the teams in their respective areas. Professional staff members recruit for and organize their teams and communicate the teams’ activities through the Coordinating Team’s report to the Board of Trustees. Members are invited to join a team based on their commitment to the UUCC Vision and Mission, their involvement in and support of our community and their particular interests and skills. Team members are encouraged to serve three-year terms and to participate consistently in monthly meetings and other activities of the team.

Please find links to each area below. If interested in serving in any of these volunteer roles, please express your interest to the Staff Liaison for that area. These expressions of interest will be one of the ways we will recruit volunteers and are not a guarantee you will serve in that role. If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact Director of Member Relations Kelly Greene.
