We welcome our new choir accompanist and collaborative pianist, Jessica Borgnis, who will play for the first time in services this Sunday. She is a pianist, singer, songwriter, music director, and teacher who studied music performance and composition at Welch College in Nashville, TN before earning her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology at Queens University of Charlotte. Jessica has performed extensively as an accompanist, jazz pianist/vocalist, bandmember, and solo musician throughout the southeast and has appeared on Life in the Carolinas as a featured songwriter. Her most recent work was at Children’s Theater of Charlotte as music director for the original world premiere of Invisible Boy this past fall. Jessica also maintains a busy studio where she teaches private piano and voice to people of all ages. When she is not busy performing and teaching, she enjoys time with her family hiking and camping in the NC mountains.

Thank you to our pledging members, who make the hiring of Jessica possible. She looks forward to meeting members of the congregation this Sunday!
