Our Unitarian Universalist values have always pushed our people to show up, to risk, to struggle for justice and liberation and radically inclusive communities centered in Love. The heart of our faith transcends cultural shifts and political trends. But at key moments throughout the centuries, our religious ancestors have also always been willing to transform themselves and their faith to meet the needs of the moment – to let go of what no longer serves, to open to new possibilities, to seize opportunities and lean into aspiration and innovation. At our best, Unitarian Universalists are both deeply grounded in our core values and shared commitments and nimble enough to respond to the challenges and opportunities that emerge in rapidly changing times.
Meet the Moment is a movement-wide framework helping Unitarian Universalists analyze, discern, and take values-based action in response to today’s religious, cultural, generational, and political realities.

Explore the Fall Wave Cohorts.
In particular, we would like to lift up the following two Wave Cohorts that are open for registration NOW:
The Practice of Covenant
Our Shared Values call us to actively co-create our living tradition through the individual and collective expression of Love, Interdependence, Pluralism, Justice, Transformation, Generosity, and Equity. A primary expression of our shared values is the promises we make with one another to build Beloved Community. This Wave Cohort will explore the covenants we create and the covenants we have inherited.

Exploring New Models for Faith Development and Religious Education
We are gathering UUs who care about faith formation, religious education, and/or family ministries to a 2-day Meet the Moment conversation. Come to explore big questions about what is happening in and around our congregations and how we are called to respond. Share your ideas and approaches and hear from others about theirs. We warmly invite professional religious educators, RE committee members, RE teachers, youth group advisors, ministers, parents, youth, kids, board members, and anyone else who wants to come.
