Please look for an opportunity to welcome these new members into our congregation.

Stuart Anderson

 Diane Closson

I am a native of Iowa, studied nursing at the University of Iowa. I worked many years in community health and hospice, and at the Mayo Clinic. I have three grown children, four grandchildren and one great grandson. I enjoy reading, knitting, walking and enjoying time with family and friends.

Thomas Eidson

I am joining UUCC because its members share similar values to my own. I was a research scientist and worked at NASA and several universities. I am currently retired.  I have played tournament bridge for many years.  I have raced sailboats and coached soccer to kids. I also enjoy gardening.

 Sherry Hall and James Zeisel

We are two homebodies who enjoy gardening, cooking, classic cards and our Jack Russell terrier. Looking to make connections to a like-minded community of UU folks.

 Jasmine Hathaway

Jasmine attended UUCC as a middle and high school schooler and enjoyed programs such as Coming of Age, Cons, the Boston Trip and more. She’s excited to be back as a member along with her daughter Alex (3rd grade). She enjoys being an active participant of the community and looks forward to getting to know more of the membership.

 Jeremy Mauldin

Jeremy Mauldin is grateful for the welcoming people and atmosphere of the UUCC. Having relocated to Charlotte in the past year, he enjoys spending time with his son, playing the electric guitar, and reading. He has found the UUCC’s inspiring music and thoughtful dialogue to be very encouraging.

Kay Mixon

40-year member of UU Church of Cohasset, MA. Moved to Charlotte four years ago to be near family as my Larry and I were going through his decline in health from Parkinson’s. He died in 2020.

 Meredith Quinn and Leslie Glenn

We are a local couple together for 25 years with an 11-year-old son. Both of us are physical therapists. We enjoy being outdoors kayaking, hiking and working in the yard.
