We often have difficulty maintaining hope when faced with the challenges of coping with personal problems or striving for social justice. Doing so has been especially difficulty under the restrictions of COVID-19. Yet maintaining hope is needed in order to continue our efforts. Hope, lying between denial and resignation, makes our actions relevant. Hope will be presented as a Moral Beacon in the quest for achieving personal meaning in our lives and a Moral Compass in the multigenerational quest for social justice. The aim of this program will be to provide a realistic basis for hope and strategies for maintaining hope. Please join facilitator Bill Gay on Thursday, September 16 at 7 p.m. in Freeman Hall.
