Most Sundays, children age 4 – 12th grade begin in the sanctuary and are dismissed to class after the Time for All Ages. Nursery care is always available during the entire service for infants through 3 years old.
Age groups and programming for 2025-26:
- Spirit Play, ages 4-1st grade: Using storytelling, ritual and play to build a foundation in UUism. This year’s stories will be centered on the UU Values.
- Elementary, 2nd-4th grade: LEGO ValUUes. We’ll explore our UU values through story, discussion and building with LEGOs.*
- Jr. Youth, 5th-8th grade: Widening the Lens**. This program will encourage the youth to explore the UU values through imagery and (cell phone) photography.***
- Sr. Youth, 9th-12th grade: Widening the Lens**. This program will encourage the youth to explore the UU values through imagery and (cell phone) photography.***
**While the Jr and Sr Youth will both be using the same curriculum, each class will be distinct and developmentally appropriate for their ages. Occasionally the classes may work together.
***If your youth does not have their own phone or another picture taking device, we will find a way to accommodate them.
