Open Door School’s biggest scholarship fundraiser, the Silent Auction, is back in person this year!

Plan to spend the evening with other ODS parents and patrons on Saturday, April 20, from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

After three years of online auctions due to COVID-19 safety measures, we’re thrilled to announce that this year’s silent auction will be held in person. Each year, the Silent Auction is our biggest fundraiser to raise money for the Sue Riley Scholarship Fund. This fund makes an ODS education more affordable for several deserving families every year. It was Sue Riley’s (our founder) dream that any child who wanted to attend Open Door could. While we’re still far from reaching that goal, your participation in the Silent Auction and fundraising events throughout the year, make it closer to reality.

We created this handy little Q&A to get everyone pumped for the big event.

Are children invited?
The Silent Auction is an adult-only event and the perfect excuse to socialize without the kiddos for an evening of fun.

Will there be food and beverages?
Yes! Pasta & Provisions will be catering the event, and we will have Pepperbox Donuts for dessert. Beverages (both alcoholic and non) will also be available.

Is there a theme? What should I wear?
Get groovy and get ready to boogie because our theme is The 70s! Dust off your bell bottoms, throw on your disco attire and don’t forget those funky accessories. Of course, regular night-out attire also works – so get ready for fun on the dance floor!

Wait, does that mean there will be a dance floor?
Rumor has it there will be karaoke. And where there’s karaoke…🕺💃

How much are tickets and where can I buy them?
Tickets can be purchased here:  https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets/open-door-school/silent-auction
